Lady Rziha, Cavegirl of the Month for April ‘05!
I sat down with Lady over a cup of coffee at our local Starbucks discussing the love of gaming. Lady still owns an Atari on which she plays Pong.
I asked her several questions as we enjoyed our warm drinks and watched the passerbys on the street.
So as you have all been waiting to get to know Lady Rziha, our April Cavegirl of the month-here is the interview:
First the personal questions:
Birthday : Dec 9, 1980
Married : she says to a wonderful man and they have one son.
She grew up in the middle of Kansas and her favorite color is Red-the color of Blood! J/K LOL!
Her other hobbies besides gaming is art work.
And now down to the gaming questions.
Why do you like gaming?
I got started because my parents were interested in the Atari games. They also played some Nintindo but after that they said the games became to complicated. I like being a gamer because of escapism. Being able to escape all stress and responsibility for at least an hour gets me amped up to face the world again.
What is your favorite game?
My favorite game…That’s a tough one. I have at least one favorite per system. Xbox-Halo 2, PS2-Final Fantasy, Gamecube-Harvest Moon, AWL, PC-Diablo. Variety is good.
Favorite Halo 2 gametype?
I really like assault.
Favorite Dual wielding combo?
I like the plasma pistol/SMG combo. That might change due to the update.
Favorite Map?
So far I like playing on Waterworks.
Who do you like to play with the most?
I play all the time with my husband. If one of us is on you will more than likely see the other shortly. We make a great team.
Least Favorite Gametype?
My least favorite gametype would be slayer matches. More because I usually get creamed than because I don’t like it. Sometimes I have a good match, most times not. I just can’t tell why either.
How long have you been a member of the cave?
I joined the cave back in Feb. of this year.
How did you find the cave?
How I found the cave…I walked through a dense, dark forest until I came upon a stone wall. I followed the wall for a day before I found a crack. Following the crack a ways I soon found a cave inhabited by cayotes. At first I was nervous about residing with them but they all turned out to be quite friendly and somewhat harmless. Really I think I saw it in someone’s sig.
Do you like to listen to music while you play?
No I don’t listen to music while I play Halo. I don’t want others to hear where I am.
And where is Lady right now?
I am a ceramist and will finially be graduating this May after five years of College. Word to the wise, Don’t change your major in the middle unless you like school.
I also asked Lady to tell us about a couple of things.
Her awesome Master Chief costume that she made for her husband, and her new couples group.
LOL I was also asked to tell you all about the costume I made for my husband last Halloween. We take Halo-ween seriously and make these insane costumes. He made the comment that he wanted to buy a Nightmare Armor Suit when they were so popular. However there was no way I was going to buy a suit for $4000. Especially when I KNOW how much they actually cost to make. Maybe about $1000 for the med-grade plastic. Once you have a mother mold from the first cast, you can whip them out like no bodies business. So not worth what they wanted. But Sirz (his GT) really wanted a suit and I thought it would be cool too, so I drew up the plans. We used the old old containers from his job at Dillon’s and I cut them using a box knife. I worked on it for a period of about 3 months to build it. Could have gone faster but I still had classes and such. I used reg hot glue to bond all the pieces together and some velco to hold them in place on the body suit. Total cost for my suit. $100. I have been working on plans for an elite costume but that’s a future project. Pics of the suit can be found on the Cavegirls MSN group.
Also I’d like to tell everyone about another group I created. It’s called Halo Couples and it’s a place for gamers who play with their sig. others. We have about 11 members so far but would love to have more! So if you play Halo with your husband/boyfriend you can join up! Spread the word!
I also have a group called Terminal Guardian. It’s the home base for my clan but all my live friends have joined up and we have a blast. Come see for your self.
Thank you Lady Rziha for all of your hard work during the month of may for our pending members, and for being an excellent Cavegirl!
