Clobberella, Cavegirl of the Month for January ‘06!

Venus Envy :

Without much hesitation it was determinded that Clobberella is the Cavegirl of the Month of January!! I know a little late..but it’s worth it!!! This girl is great! She’s been here since the early days and has always been involved as much as possible! And for that this is our way of saying thankyou!

I thought about doing an interview followed by you girls asking whatever you wanted! But I am just gonna get as those need to know questions out of the way first!!

So Clobby,

How in the heck did you ever get on XBL?! I mean from just the pictures that I have seen, you seem more like the type of girl who’s into reading rather than killing!! Come on, I know you wanna share that story about who and when you popped your cherry!!
Well, I’ve always liked video games. I had the Super Nintendo, and the N64 when I was a kid. For whatever reason, I just kinda stopped playing video games after a while. I still played PC games from time to time, but not nearly as much as I used to. In spring of 2004 I met Jon and Amber, the people who are now my roomates, but were just friends at that time. They were into video games, but I had never played with them. Jon’s birthday was coming up and he was having a bunch of his friends over for some Halo 1. I was talking to him the week before, and he was like, “Why don’t you come over and play some Halo with us?” I said, “What the hell is Halo?” Ahhh, the statement that would change my life. I came over, played Halo with him and the boys, they kicked my ass, but I was instantly addicted. After that we’d get together regularly for some mini LAN parties. We’d generally have 3 girls and 3 guys so we’d do “Poles vs Holes” matches. When Halo 2 was set to be released, my mom got me that, and my Xbox as an early Christmas present. Not long after that, I was on XBL.

What are some of your favorite games..other than halo 2?!
I love, love, LOVE Fable. I’m a total sucker for RPGs and that one is goooood lovin’. I also love the GTA games. They let me live out my Goodfellas fantasies. Not too long ago I started playing through my sister’s copy of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I really enjoy that, but I’m stuck right now, so I haven’t played much lately. I’m also a freak for The Sims 2 on PC.

What was your first experience as a Cavegirl / who was the first person you remember meeting? (oh your sister does not count!)
If I remember correctly, I had posted something on one of the main Bungie forums about the bad experiences I’d had as a girl on XBL. Not long after that, I got a message from Katie about The Cavegirls group. I jumped at the chance to join. I was still new to XBL and didn’t play with any other girls besides my sister and Amber, and was looking forward to it. I don’t remember who the first Cavegirl I played with was… I want to say Katie, but I’m not 100% sure.

If there was one girl you could meet from the group who would it be and why? I know it’s hard to choose, as we are all oh so fabulous!
OMG, There’s no WAY I could choose just one of you girls to meet! I want to meet all of you!

Getting back into Halo 2, what are your favorite weapons/combos? And which are the ones that you hate so bad, that you wanna reach on the other end of the persons tv and slap that person using them?!?
The combo I use the most is the SMG/Plasma Rifle. That was actually the first thing I ever dual weilded with. Not long after Halo 2 came out, before I even had my own account, I was playing on XBL at Jon and Amber’s (probably under Jon’s old GT “Firey”). It was some slayer game on Collosus. Jon comes in the room, watches me play for a few minutes, and says, “Kim, let me give you some advice. Dual wield.” So I said, “Fine.” And picked up a Plasma Rifle. “That’s a good combo. Stick with that.” He said. So I have…. LOL Then he said to his wife, “Amber, let me give YOU some advice. Stop playing Halo, you suck.”

And of course the noob combo drives me crazy. I am guilty of using it, but I’m pretty bad with it, so I’m no threat at all. I think it actually makes me WORSE.

What are some of your favorite game types & maps?
My favorite thing ever is CTF on Headlong. CTF is my favorite objective game, and Headlong is my favorite map, so, yeah. My other favorite maps are Lockout and Midship. I used to hate Midship because of the choice of weapons, but I got better at it because I had to and now its one of my favorites.

Why in gods name would you ever play as an elite?! Seriously..WTF were you thinking?!?!?!!
It was a momentary lapse! I’m sorry! I had literally changed over to an elite right before I went into that game with you. It wasn’t long before I realized what a grave, grave mistake I had made. I don’t think I’ve ever been betrayed so fast in any game before. *glares*

Do you ever get mad on XBL? I mean I have heard you complain..but I have never really heard you freak out or anything! Why so nice?!
I’m usually nice when I’m playing with people I like. There’s no one on my friend list I don’t have an absolute blast playing with, so even if there’s some jerk in the game my mood stays pretty light. I find it more funny than anything else. I have freaked out on people on XBL before, trust me. When I have to, I can really talk some trash.

What’s with the crazy interest with Alan Rickman? Cause personally..he kinda freaks me out! Oh wait but so do those voices in my head…NO you shut up!!
Oooh, Alan Rickman. *grrrroowwwwlll* I don’t know what my thing with him is. I’ve always been teased for my appreciation of actors who are older than my dad. I hear a lot of, “Who are you, Anna Nicole Smith now?” No one gets it. *sigh* No matter what you think of him though, you cannot say his voice isn’t sexy. Come on, now.

Cayote:

I have always had lots of positive comments from others about you-like when you come join us for games-and don’t forget Violator! Can you tell us how that whole song thing came about? I don’t think I ever heard the full story.
Heh. I totally heart Violator. I think it was one of the first games I’d ever played with him, he says, “Your name seems like it needs a theme song.” He played around with some different things, but nothing was coming together. So I told him, “Well, work on it when you get a chance.” The next day I have a message waiting from him with my theme song. He keeps trying to add onto it. Its going to be quite something when its finished, I tell ya.
